Downhill Bike Add-on

On a regular balance bike, the child's feet are used for pushing, balancing and often slowing the bike down.

The Downhill Add-on introduces a dedicated platform where both feet can rest while the bike continues moving.

It also adds an integrated brake. Pressing down on the edge of the footrest activates the braking mechanism and allows your child to slow the bike in a controlled way.

In other words, the add-on gives the balance bike two new capabilities: a stable place for the feet while gliding and a dedicated braking system.

The footrest is also part of the braking mechanism.

During normal riding, your child rests their feet on the platform. To slow down, they press down on the edge of the footrest, which activates the brake.

This simple action helps children begin to understand the relationship between speed, movement and braking.

The Downhill Add-on connects to the LEG&GO Balance Bike 3in1 frame.

Once installed, it adds a stable footrest together with an integrated braking system. While gliding, your child can lift both feet from the ground and place them on the platform.

When they want to slow down, they press down on the edge of the footrest to activate the brake.

This add-on is particularly useful once your child is already confident on the balance bike and is ready for a new challenge.

It changes the riding experience from keeping the feet close to the ground to gliding with both feet supported on the bike.

At the same time, the integrated brake introduces another important riding skill: learning how to control speed.
